VP Operations


Position Overview: The VP Operations at SportVot will oversee all operational aspects of the organization, ensuring smooth execution of live streaming, production, and other related services. This role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and the ability to improve operational efficiency, with a focus on scaling SportVot's services across India and globally. This role also involves setting up proper project management structure and fail proof systems for error free execution of events


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Operations Management:

-Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize SportVot’s live streaming, production, and sports tech solutions.

-Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards across all operational activities.

-Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with company objectives.


Event and Production Oversight:

- Oversee end-to-end execution of sports streaming events, including planning, staffing, logistics, and technology deployment.

- Manage large-scale sports tournaments and ensure seamless delivery of live streams and production outputs.

- Monitor technical setups, including camera placement, power, Wi-Fi, and broadcasting equipment.


Process Improvement and Innovation:

- Create and optimize operational workflows, reducing inefficiencies and ensuring scalability.

- Introduce and integrate advanced technologies like SportVot Cloud Studio, PTZ cameras, and remote production tools.

- Develop processes to reduce costs without compromising quality.


Team Leadership and Coordination:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operations managers, technical staff, vendors and production crews.

- Ensure clear communication and coordination between internal departments, freelancers, and external partners.

- Establish performance metrics and accountability systems for the operations team.


Vendor and Partner Management:

- Build and maintain relationships with vendors for equipment, risers, internet providers, and other operational requirements.

- Collaborate with event organizers, sports bodies, and stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of events.


Reporting and Analytics:

- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations, identifying areas for improvement.

- Provide detailed reports to senior management on operational performance and project outcomes.

- Use insights to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.


Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in, Sports Management, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field


Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in operations, preferably in sports management, live production, or broadcasting.

• Proven track record of managing large-scale events and leading cross-functional teams.

• Experience in implementing innovative operational strategies and technologies.


Skills:

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of live streaming technology, production workflows, and broadcasting tools.

• Proficiency in project management and operational tools.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
