Safety Culture & Training:

  • Promote a culture of safety within the organization by leading safety initiatives and fostering an environment of proactive risk management.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employees’ understanding of process safety principles and practices.

Incident Investigation & Reporting:

  • Lead investigations of process safety incidents and near-misses, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and improvement plans to senior management.

Regulatory Compliance & Audits:

  • Ensure that all process safety activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external safety audits, addressing any findings and implementing improvements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance the company’s process safety management practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing safety performance data and identifying opportunities for enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Tech - Chemical), Full Time.
  • Experience: Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in process safety management within the chemical industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in process safety, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent, are preferred.
