Apposite Learning Solutions is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth through new business acquisition. The Sales Director will be responsible for building key competencies in the sales team, developing and executing strategic sales plans, hunting for new opportunities, managing sales P&L, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share through new business acquisition.
  2. Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and key accounts.
  3. Manage sales P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  4. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed new business sales targets.
  5. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other internal teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
  6. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  7. Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  8. Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's offerings and generate new leads.
  9. 9. Continuously improve sales processes and methodologies to optimize new business acquisition.


Requirements:

  1. Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the learning solutions or ed-tech industry, with a focus on new business acquisition.
  2. Demonstrated experience in managing sales P&L and driving revenue growth through new clients onboarding and mining of existing clients.
  3. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  5. In-depth understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  7. Experience in managing and coaching high-performance sales teams focused on new business acquisition.
  8. Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
  9. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  10. Willingness to travel as required.
