Business Development Manager

The position is fundamentally for an upcoming 75 acre, flagship mixed asset class project of ours and another 25 acre project having IT/ITES, Defense, Precision Manufacturing centric development in KIADB Aerospace park; both near Devanahalli. The 75 acre mixed development is being designed by world class architects and will be developed over 3 phases; the first phase will contain Industrial (high end logistics and flatted factories) and residential followed by hospital and school; the second phase will contain premium office spaces (World Trade Centre) and residential; and the third phase will have retail, residential, high end hotels.
Looking upon the challenging assignment, we need a self-driven resource, proactive and creative, having good grasp over numbers; and acumen to identify and reach out to potential clients. The resource should have the ability to scale up in competence to handle multiple asset classes, though initial focus would be more on industrial/logistics/manufacturing/IT and residential.
Responsibilities-
- Identifying new business opportunities: Researching and analyzing the market to find potential clients and services to offer. Pro-active in reaching out to prospects and should be comfortable with cold calls.
- Developing sales strategies: Creating and implementing sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed sales/leasing goals
- Building relationships: Developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients
- Attending networking events: Attending networking events to attract and retain clients
- Negotiating: Using negotiation skills to close deals and maintain profitable terms
- Communicating: Communicating with clients of all backgrounds and educational levels. Communicating internally at various levels within the organization. Should have excellent presentation skills.
- Maintaining documentation: Maintaining and updating sales, marketing, and business development documentation
- Collaborating with management: Collaborating with management on sales/leasing goals
- Good in Extra-curricular.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree & MBA Marketing is a mandate.
- 4 - 8 years' prior industry-related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
