Position: Enterprise Software Sales & Client Acquisition Specialist
Experience: 2 to 5 Years in B2B - Lead Generation or Software Sales
Reports to: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager
Location: Pune, Solapur, Belgaum
Role Overview:
The Lead Generation Specialist will focus on identifying, nurturing, and generating qualified leads to support the sales team in acquiring new clients for software products and solutions.
This role plays a pivotal part in driving new business opportunities by using various strategies, including digital marketing, cold outreach, and market research, to build a strong pipeline of potential clients.
The candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth handover and collaboration, enabling successful client acquisition and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation:
o Research and identify potential clients in the target market through various channels (online research, social media, networking events, databases, etc.
o Generate high-quality leads through inbound and outbound activities (email campaigns, cold calls, webinars, and social media outreach).
o Develop and maintain a lead generation funnel by tracking prospects, engaging decision-makers, and setting up qualified appointments for the sales team.
Market Research & Client Profiling:
o Conduct detailed research on target industries, competitors, and potential clients to tailor outreach efforts.
o Create and maintain a database of prospective clients, including key decision-makers and contact information.
o Use lead scoring techniques to prioritize leads based on potential value and readiness to purchase.
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing:
o Work closely with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts with broader sales and marketing campaigns.
o Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless transition and handover of qualified leads.
o Provide regular feedback on lead quality and outreach success rates to refine strategies.
Outreach & Engagement:
o Develop and execute personalized email campaigns, calls, and messaging to engage potential clients and introduce software products.
o Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client needs, pain points, and software requirements.
o Qualify leads based on business needs and sales-readiness before passing them to the sales team.
CRM Management & Reporting:
o Accurately document lead interactions and maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems (e.
, Salesforce, HubSpot).
o Track and report key metrics such as lead conversion rates, response times, and overall pipeline health.
o Provide insights to improve lead generation tactics and optimize conversion rates.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in lead generation, business development, or sales, ideally within the software or technology sector.
- Skills:
o Proficiency in CRM software (e., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) and lead generation tools.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling outreach messaging.
o Proven experience in cold outreach (emails, calls) and generating qualified leads in a B2B environment.
o Strong understanding of software sales cycles and the technology market.
o Ability to conduct thorough market research and apply findings to lead generation efforts.
