We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to drive business growth in hospital infrastructure and project sales. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in selling hospital infrastructure solutions such as Pneumatic Tube Systems, Nurse Call Systems and OT Integration. This role requires expertise in project sales, tender management, and relationship building to drive business expansion across West and South India.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with hospitals, corporate healthcare chains, and government institutions.
- Manage the entire project sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure and project execution.
- Work with hospital administrators, procurement heads, consultants, and project decision-makers to develop long-term relationships.
- Handle tender processes, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities and potential clients.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with senior executives and procurement teams.
- Collaborate with technical, service, and implementation teams for seamless project delivery.
- Travel extensively across India for client meetings, project discussions, and business development.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electronics, IT, Commerce, or Marketing. An MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in hospital infrastructure project sales, such as Pneumatic Tube Systems, Nurse Call Systems, OT Integration etc
- Proven Sales Track Record: Strong background in B2B project sales, hospital tenders, and solution-based selling.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in hospital infrastructure projects, government healthcare initiatives, and large-scale tenders.
- Communication & Networking: Strong ability to engage with hospital management, consultants, contractors, and decision-makers.
- Travel Requirement: Willing to travel extensively across India for business development and project execution.
- Understanding of IT technology in terms of hardware as well as software solutions.
- Previous background in projects or in medical gas pipeline is helpful.
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving targets with a zeal to learn and determination to win.
- Previous experience in selling Project Sales/Infrastructure solutions preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and relations with key customers and corporate hospital, consultants, turnkey providers, tendering/liasoning companies/agents
