Our comprehensive product line includes advanced and traditional wound care dressings and skin protection products, ensuring optimal patient care and outcomes.Job Summary:The Billing/Claims Submissions Specialist is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting accurate medical claims to payers. This role ensures timely reimbursement and compliance with payer guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or via paper.Review claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with coding standards.Monitor rejected claims. Correct and resubmit them promptly.Collaborate with coding and collections teams to resolve issues.Stay updated on payer requirements and regulatory changes.Skills & Qualifications1–3 years of experience in medical billing and claims submission.Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding standards.Familiarity with clearinghouses and electronic claim submission processes, Brightree preferredStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
