Position: General Manager – Accounts

Location: Vile Parle West (Mumbai)

Experience- Minimum 10 + years

CTC – upto 14 Lpa (depend on the interview)

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is highly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Working Conditions:

Occasional overtime during peak financial periods (e.g., year-end closing, tax filing).

Position Summary:

The General Manager (GM) of Accounts is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company's accounting functions. This includes supervising accounting teams, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing financial reporting processes, and contributing to the organization’s long-term financial strategy. The GM of Accounts will work closely with senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting and Financial Management:

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Monitor cash flow and develop strategies to maintain liquidity while optimizing working capital.
  • Manage internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.

2. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to senior management for decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost management, and pricing strategies.
  • Review financial performance against budget and provide recommendations for improvement.

3. Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure the organization passes all audits with minimal findings.
