This role ensures high-quality production, supports NPI builds, reduces defects, and improves manufacturing yields through data-driven process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.Key Responsibilities:New Product Introduction (NPI):- Review PCB design files (Gerber, ODB++), BOMs, assembly drawings, and DFM feedback with design teams.- Plan and execute prototype builds, ensuring assembly readiness and communicating risks.Production Support:- Provide real-time engineering support to SMT and assembly lines for troubleshooting process.- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production and quality Create and maintain process instructions.- Prepare engineering change notices (ECNs) and support configuration management.Process Development & Develop and optimize SMT, Wave, coating and testing assembly processes, solder paste selection.- Define and improve assembly workflows, process parameters, and quality control checkpoints.- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cycle time, and improve first-pass yield.
