Job Purpose -


Lead the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of experiential learning (EL) programs. Ensure seamless integration of EL courses within the curriculum, manage high-level industry partnerships, and oversee comprehensive resource allocation. Provide exceptional support to students and faculty while driving innovation and expansion of EL initiatives


Job Outline -


The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of EL programs at the Indian School of Business. This role involves high-level planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects, including multi-stakeholder management, resource optimization, and strategic industry collaborations. The Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the EL curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational goals and industry standards. Success in this role will be measured by the quality and impact of EL programs, stakeholder satisfaction, and the successful scaling of initiatives. The Senior Program Manager also collaborates closely with industry partners to ensure alignment with program goals and to facilitate meaningful student engagements.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Planning and Program Development

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for EL program growth and sustainability
  • Lead curriculum design and integration of EL courses within the broader academic framework
  • Define and develop the methodologies of EL that can be incorporated into multiple programs across the school
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities for program expansion and innovation
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure program, curriculum design, competitiveness and relevance
  • Collaborate with academic leadership to align EL initiatives with institutional goals - 30%


Program Logistics and Operations

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for each EL course, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements
  • Oversee the scheduling of workshops, site visits, field immersions, and other course-related activities
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, including resource assistants, technology, and materials to develop and deliver EL courses
  • Oversee logistical arrangements for field-based experiences such as travel, accommodation, and site coordination
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and safety regulations - 20%


Student and Faculty Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty and industry partners enrolled in EL courses, addressing their queries, concerns, and logistical needs
  • Provide comprehensive support to faculty members involved in EL courses, including onboarding and research associates capacity coordination
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between students, faculty, and industry partners
  • Collect and analyze student feedback to continuously improve the EL experience
  • Maintain accurate records of student participation, assessments, and course outcomes - 20%


Industry Liaison and Collaboration

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with industry leaders and organizations
  • Coordinate with industry partners to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines
  • Facilitate communication and interaction between students and industry partners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Organize and participate in industry events, workshops, field immersions, and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships and explore new collaboration avenues - 30%


Required Qualifications

Knowledge / Education/ Experience

  • Master’s degree in business administration, education, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, project coordination, or a similar role, with significant experience in a leadership capacity
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and program development
  • Experience in an academic or educational setting with a focus on action-based/experiential learning is preferred
