Objectives of the Position         
The Demand & Raw Material (RM) Planning Manager ensures efficient supply chain management for the ECO division, achieving operational goals, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring timely raw material supply. By planning and collaborating with stakeholders, the planner optimizes operations, boosts efficiency, and mitigates risks with strategic roadmaps for supply chain resilience.

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

For Demand & RM Planning:

 

  • Leading RM planning for ECO division
  • Strategic roadmap for improving supply reliability.
  • Collect and consolidate country demand forecast on rolling 6-month basis for RM planning.
  • Participate in Monthly demand review meetings with Sales team & identify demand outliers if any for correction.
  • Responsible to conduct RM review meetings & provide key inputs to management for ECO operations during meeting.
  • Responsible for review & execution of RM availability plan based on the sales Forecast & maintain agreed Inventory levels across distribution centers.
  • Develop & execute operations planning for site operations & coordinate with key stakeholders for smooth execution of Operations plan.
  • Responsible to meet yearly planning numbers for EC products by ensuring smooth supply chain operations.
  • Plan raw material replenishment based on finished goods planning which is derived from sales Forecast.
  • Work with local/regional team & make strategic roadmap for developing alternative of all key raw materials.
  • Coordinate with regional product management & Procurement team for raw material sourcing strategy, execution for key raw materials & developing contingency plans for alternative sourcing in case of supply chain disruptions.
  • Provide projections to regional SCM counterpart for Intercompany raw materials & coordinate with them for timely supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and provide Inventory projections to regional team based on sales Forecast.
  • Conduct regular analysis of supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams i.e. operations, Lab, marketing, sales & controlling to optimize processes and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the supply chain & taking necessary actions wherever required.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate supply chain performance and improvement initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Develop & implement strategies for the disposition of obsolete inventory.
  • Analyzing & improving supply chain processes & Operations to optimize the cost.
  • Responsible to identify asset capacity bottlenecks to meet long term Sales Projections submitted by sales team. Inform such bottlenecks to business management team to plan necessary actions.
  • Effectively managing supply crises & guiding the team through challenging times.
  • Foster positive & collaborative work environment & motivate team members to achieve overall organization goals.
  • Understanding on Import process

 

Supply Chain Performance management

 

  • Inventory monitoring – local key user of report DIV, OIV, aging, non-moving & expired stock
  • RM Forecast Accuracy – Basis on DMT FCA reports (external and internal)
  • NCM monthly report – local key user of NCM, report NCM KPIs monthly
  • Delivery Services – local key user of DMT, report DC/DR monthly
  • Shared material reasonable planning of consolidation and effective communication
  • Saving Projects
  • Monitoring the required KPI’s and sharing with all stakeholders
  • Efficient management of Digital tool

People management

 

  • Drive planner upskilling program
  • Strong entrepreneur & stakeholders management.

 

Job Skills:

2. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

3. Knowledge of industry best practices, regulations, and compliance standards in supply chain management.

4. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment & Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in planning and execution

 

Job Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain or Logistics Mgt.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or APICS certification are a plus.
  • +10 years relevant experience in Logistics or Supply Chain function
  • Soft Skills: MS Office (Power BI, Excel & Power Point), Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, SAP R3, APO DP, SNP). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
