Role Description
Roles and Responsibilities of a German Course Admin
1. Course Planning and Development:
- Designing and developing German language courses, including curriculum planning, syllabus creation, and selection of appropriate teaching materials.
- Ensuring courses meet educational standards and learning objectives.
2. Administration and Coordination:
- Managing course schedules, classroom assignments, and instructor timetables.
- Coordinating with other departments, like admissions, marketing, and student services, to ensure smooth operation of the courses.
3. Instructor Management:
- Recruiting, training, and supervising German language instructors.
- Conducting regular evaluations and providing feedback to instructors to maintain teaching quality.
4. Student Support and Engagement:
- Assisting students with course selection and enrollment processes.
- Addressing student queries, concerns, and feedback.
- Monitoring student progress and providing guidance or additional resources as needed.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the courses through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Implementing improvements based on feedback from students and instructors.
6. Budget and Resource Management:
- Managing the budget for the German language program, including expenses related to materials, instructor salaries, and other resources.
