Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to lead our Herbal and Ayurvedic Medicines division.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of extensive experience in Sales & Marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, with a significant focus on Herbal and Ayurvedic products.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives, sales targets, and revenue growth for Herbal and Ayurvedic Medicines.
  • Lead and manage the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure optimal performance and alignment with company goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the Herbal and Ayurvedic segment to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including distributors, retailers, healthcare professionals, and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Monitor sales performance, market penetration, and customer feedback, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing to ensure product development, compliance, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to Herbal and Ayurvedic Medicines, incorporating relevant insights into business strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • MBA preferably with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or related field.
  • Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in Sales & Marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on Herbal and Ayurvedic products.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape, market dynamics, and consumer trends in the Herbal and Ayurvedic segment.
  • Results-oriented mind-set with a strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
