Head of Modern Trade

- A leading player in the health and beauty industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join their team as the Head of Modern Trade. With a commitment to delivering high-quality products and a strong presence in the market, they are looking for a driven professional to lead their modern trade efforts in Mumbai.

- The Head of Modern Trade will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive sales, revenue, and market share in the modern trade channel for our beauty and cosmetics products. This is a senior leadership position that requires a blend of strategic thinking, team management, and market expertise.

Responsibilities :

- Modern Trade Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive modern trade strategy to achieve company sales objectives, expand market presence, and increase brand visibility across various modern trade channels, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, department stores, and specialty stores.

- Sales and Revenue Growth: Lead the sales team in driving revenue growth through effective planning, forecasting, and budgeting. Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends, identifying opportunities for growth and proposing actionable strategies.

- New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand distribution and secure new partnerships in the modern trade space. Explore new channels and market segments to maximize sales potential.

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, feedback, and training to ensure their continuous development and success. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and achievement.

Qualifications and Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience in a leadership role within the food industry, specifically focusing on modern trade channels.

- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.

- Proactive, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
