You will be working as Senior Technical Specialist-Metals, Long product Automation at global grade 12 and will be part of Process Automation business for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Engineering Manager and will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining of profile mill (long product rolling mills) solution for global business line of metals.

Your responsibilities
  • Supporting execution team in implementation of complex control functions of profile mill controls as per the need
  • Responsible for pre-sales and sales support for validation of proposed hardware and software architecture of the project based on requirement specifications
  • Performing guarantee parameters to be validated
  • Responsible for technical deliveries, commissioning and service of the systems or delivering service solutions to end customer
  • Coordinating with relevant functions for resolution of technical issues in their area of expertise
  • Supporting technical reviews and participates in core technical meetings
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputed university with first class in electrical / electrical and electronics engineering
  • Require more than 10 years of experience in automation systems with relevant process experience in metals domain specifically in long product rolling mills
  • Should have experience in handling automation projects comprising of engineering
  • Good knowledge about application / process of long product rolling mills
  • Experience in application development
  • Working on standardizing the control solution
