You will be working as Senior Finance Specialist - General Accounting at global grade 14 and will be part of Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Finance Team Lead -General Accounting and will be primarily responsible to providing accounting, reporting and consolidation expertise. Supporting accounting and reporting matters to business or reporting units through resolution of accounting and reporting questions, financial statement reviews and preparation, as well as follow-up on accounting issues.

Your responsibilities
  • Supporting preparation of financial reports in compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements
  • Contributing to definition, implementation and improvement of accounting policies relevant to area and level of expertise (as applicable)
  • Performing general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to solve unusual issues
  • Providing perspective on accounting matters based on well-established principles and practices and ensuring implementation of changes in A&RG in own area of responsibility
  • Performing quality checks on financial reporting data submitted by the units, including analytical review of major fluctuations
  • Performing internal control over financial reporting processes
  • Maintaining reporting procedures within area of responsibility, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (Master's degree will be an added advantage)
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries
  • Must have experience in Record to Report (R2R) and SAP
  • Must be flexible in working for any shift timings
  • Good communication skills
  • Working knowledge in MS office
