Specialist - BD & Sales


A global IT Services firm specialising in end-to-end solutions for Development, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Business Intelligence and Data Science, DevOps enablement, Managed Services, Security, Construction Management Software Integration and IT Staffing.


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development and Sales Specialist with a strong background in data solutions to join our team.

This role is crucial for identifying and securing new business opportunities, particularly through the strategic analysis of RFPs in both government and private sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data technologies and solutions, combined with exceptional skills in documentation, proposal writing, and project acquisition.

You will act as a bridge between our sales team and data engineering teams, ensuring that our proposals are not only compelling but also technically sound and aligned with our capabilities.


Responsibilities :

  • RFP Analysis and

Response Coordination:
Lead the analysis of RFPs from government and private sectors, identifying key requirements and opportunities. Coordinate with data engineering and other relevant teams to prepare accurate and compelling responses.

  • Business Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities in the field of data solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in potential client organisations.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies that effectively communicate the value proposition of our data solutions to prospective clients.
  • Documentation and

Proposal Writing:
Create high-quality documentation and proposals that clearly convey the strengths and benefits of our data solutions. Ensure all submissions are compliant with RFP requirements and are delivered on time.

  • Data Solutions Knowledge: Leverage your understanding of data technologies and solutions to enhance proposal quality and to advise the data engineering team on market needs and trends.
  • Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and members of the data engineering team to gather insights and inputs for RFP responses and project delivery.
  • Project Acquisition Support: Assist the data team in project acquisition efforts by providing sales insights, client needs analysis, and competitive positioning.

Eligibility :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, specifically in technology or data solution sectors.
  • Strong understanding of RFP processes, particularly in the government and private sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex RFPs, with a track record of coordinating successful proposal responses.
  • Solid knowledge of data technologies, platforms, and solutions.
  • Exceptional writing and documentation skills, with the ability to create compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with all levels of management.
