Reporting to: Marketing Director & Commercial Lead- Processors

The Role will require someone to handle the Key Accounts Business for Processors & Meat Business Pan India

Key responsibilities
  • The candidate should have a proven entrepreneurial track record in the food industry, specifically in the Meat Application (coatings, seasonings, functional systems and marinades, rubs & glazes) business.
  • This person will ensure that sales targets are met by expanding Kerry's customer base and satisfying customers' needs through providing high quality service and supply partnerships within the region.
  • This person is expected to hold a strategic view and approach on how to support and develop our business in country.
  • Develop, manage and lead a solid project pipeline with deep knowledge of each of the key projects and the health of each project and its probability for success to determine if additional investments/resources are required
  • Business development across a range of Kerry technologies going into food retail customers Relationship management with Key stakeholders (R&D, Marketing, Procurement, Menu Management) in Key Accounts.
  • Lead cross functional teams to support selling initiatives with Key Accounts.
  • Managing the complete sales cycle & delivering on sales & margin targets.

Qualifications and skills

Qualification:

Graduate / Post-graduate Degree preferably in Food Technology with minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales & Key Accounts Management in the Food Industry.

Required Business Experience:

  • Well respected with strong relationships with the large local and MNC food retail companies
  • Have an expert understanding of the food ingredients business
  • Have technical knowledge of the various food products
  • A driven self-starter with the ability to create customer solutions & engender trust and respect with customers
  • Above average presentation skills.
  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Very intuitive and have the proven ability to manage projects.
  • Ability to work to high ethical standards
