Regional Sales Head (Hindi Channel)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals for the Hindi TV Channel in the Mumbai (West) and Gurgaon (North) regions.
  • Lead and mentor a highperforming sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure the attainment of sales objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies, clients, and key stakeholders, leveraging these connections to secure partnerships and drive ad sales.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging market trends and business opportunities, adapting sales strategies accordingly to maximize revenue potential.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to tailor sales pitches and offerings that align with client needs and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisionmaking and enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and results to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and best practices in sales management to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of 15 years in sales management within the media industry, with a focus on Hindi TV channel sales.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in leading and motivating sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Thorough understanding of the media landscape, advertising industry, and market trends, particularly within the Hindi TV segment.
  • Strategic mindset with a resultsoriented approach to sales, coupled with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for lead management, pipeline tracking, and customer relationship management.
  • Willingness to travel within the Mumbai (West) and Gurgaon (North) regions as needed.
