Business Head

Position Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Head to lead a specific category within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, and profit and loss (P&L) management, particularly in the pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, infant nutrition, or OTC business segments.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and execution of category objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Drive product innovation and development initiatives to meet evolving customer needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective gotomarket strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor and manage category P&L to optimize profitability and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the category team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to anticipate and respond to market changes effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and P&L management, preferably in the pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, infant nutrition, or OTC business sectors.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.
  • Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on delivering highquality outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and industry dynamics within the specified category.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a commitment to excellence.
