You will be working as Travel & Expenses Manager at Grade 11 and will be part of Global Travel and Expense Management team hosted under Motion business area, Motion Drive Products (MODP) division based in Bangalore, India. You will be reporting to Global Expense Management Service Lead. In this role you will be primarily responsible for managing and leading Expense T&E operations for the respective geographical area. Be responsible for the performance and improvement of the Expense end-to-end process and for delivering high-quality, cost-efficient and timely customer service in alignment with the T&E service catalog.

Your responsibilities
  • Leading Travel & Expenses (T&E) expense operations within T&E for the respective region.
  • Entirely accountable for delivering high-quality, cost-efficient and timely customer service in alignment with the T&E service catalog
  • Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures, managing respective internal controls
  • Leading the team with a focus on effective operational execution, responsible for short to midterm operational and tactical team activities
  • Ensuring the delivery of services to assigned employees in accordance with service level agreements. Driving process standardization across HUBs and systems
  • Creating and developing expertise in travel booking and expense tools.
  • Managing the change request process Identifying, recommending, and assisting in the implementation of best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains in the areas of responsibility
  • Ensuring a positive working relationship within the team and with external customers by measuring customer/employee satisfaction and developing them further
Your background
  • Bachelor's degree in any stream
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the T&E area
  • Mature management skills.
  • Project management skills and experience are required, Lean Six Sigma certification is a strong plus
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Has cultural sensitivity to work with globally distributed teams
  • Proficient in business English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills
