Job description :


- Will be able to design a prototype or translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. Able to do UI/UX design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.


Support in implementing the global prototypes.


Roles and responsibilities :


Design & User Interface Implementation :


- Design, Create responsive application frontend based on the design and information architecture.


- Integrate front-end application with the application business layer. Follow best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility. Collect feedback from design and technical staff on Website development needs


Requirement Gathering & Project Management :


- Engage in requirement specification process for new software functionality. Create conceptual diagrams, visual mock-ups, and manage detailed user interface specifications.


- Coordinate with Business


- Analysts and Project managers for meeting the requirements. Plan and estimate efforts on the prototyping.


- Follow the agile methodology


Process and knowledge sharing :


- Follow development process, create and maintain any required software documentation or project

artefacts within our repository(s) and documentation library.


- Learn and share knowledge in his/her

expertise area.


- Guide and help developers with solving UI issues and following best usability practices.


Continuous Improvement :


- Continue to learn the new UI Tools and Technologies in the IT industry to keep us to up to date and

implement them in the ongoing projects. Support our current software development practices by

executing on continuous improvement tasks in coordination with our other Development teams.


Working Experience :


- Relevant years of working experience within software industry.


- Preferably experience in web-based application prototyping built using HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap

outside of departments and teams.


- Effective communication : Good English (both verbal and written) along with communication and collaboration skills within and outside of departments and teams.


- Customer centric : Ability to identify and propose solutions to client's complex problems. Meet customers needs through proactive proposal of technical solutions.


Technical Skills :


- Strong hands on experience in UI development using javascript/HTML5/CSS3 and Bootstrap.


- Good hands on experience in React.


- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.


- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.


- Knowledge of some MVC framework.


- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.


- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on

an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.


- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.


- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as git/svn/tfs
