Social Media Video Editor

About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative and reliable Social Media Video Editor to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. You’ll be responsible for editing 10–15 short-form videos per week (with the potential for more as we grow). If you live and breathe TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, and know how to grab attention in the first 3 seconds, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit 10–15 short-form videos per week (TikTok/Reels/Shorts style).
- Apply catchy, fast-paced editing that fits modern social media trends.
- Add captions, text hooks, overlays, sound effects, and transitions to maximize retention.
- Follow clear briefs and deliver edits with quick turnaround times.
- Understand how to adapt edits for different platforms and audiences.
- Stay up to date with current editing styles and trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience editing short-form social media content (portfolio and/or client examples required).
- Strong command of editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or equivalent).
- Familiar with algorithms and trends on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Ability to create content that hooks audiences and drives engagement.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to take direction from briefs.
Position Details:
- Remote, Part-Time (flexible hours).
- Payment: 400–1000 INR per video (depending on complexity).
- All original footage and clear briefs will be provided.
- Opportunity to scale with us as workload increases.
