Job descriptionWe are looking for Business Head to lead our Ed-tech firm's growth and profitability. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, and driving the P&L of the designated branch.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability for the business.- Build and lead a high-performing team to execute the company's goals and objectives.- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to expand the company's customer base.- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the company's products and services.- Manage product development initiatives, including ideation, design, and launch.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.- Develop and manage the P&L for the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.- Identify and manage key business risks, including competitive threats, regulatory changes, and market fluctuations.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers.- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.- At least 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, with a track record of driving business growth and profitability.- Experience in the Ed-tech industry is highly preferred.- Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with experience managing P&L for a business unit.- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex business plans.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias towards action and a willingness to take risks.If you are a dynamic and results-driven leader who is passionate about driving growth and profitability in the ed-tech industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Interested candidates can email CV @ ankita.bhowmick@pw.live
