Role Overview
Pinkvilla is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Head for the West region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, leading sales efforts, strengthening client relationships, and expanding Pinkvilla’s market presence across the Western market. This role requires a strong understanding of the digital media ecosystem, branded content, and advertising solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation
- Own the overall revenue targets for the West region across digital media and branded content.
- Develop and implement a strong sales strategy to maximize market share and achieve quarterly/annual revenue goals.
- Identify growth opportunities, unlock new categories, and drive strategic partnerships.
- Build, manage, and optimize a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring consistent business acquisition.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle—from ideation to pitch, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure.
2. Branded Content Sales & Campaign Solutions
- Conceptualize, package, and pitch branded content offerings, including video IPs, editorial integrations, social content, influencer-led campaigns, and custom builds.
- Collaborate closely with creative, content, and production teams to design innovative, insight-driven proposals.
- Align branded content solutions with client goals, ensuring strong storytelling and measurable impact.
- Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Pinkvilla’s various platforms.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and strengthen relationships with brands, agencies, media planners, and senior decision-makers across industries.
- Understand client objectives and propose tailored digital and branded content solutions.
- Lead negotiations and close large-scale campaigns to achieve targets.
4. Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team, ensuring high performance and goal alignment.
- Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and guide team members through structured feedback and coaching.
- Provide strategic direction and empower the team with training, category insights, and sales tools.
- Foster a collaborative, goal-oriented culture within the sales function.
5. Market Analysis & Reporting
- Stay updated on market trends, category spends, competitive activity, and industry movements.
- Present sales reports, performance metrics, forecasts, and insights to senior leadership.
- Recommend strategic improvements based on market intelligence and internal performance data.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with editorial, branded content, creative, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop impactful sales decks, case studies, and promotional collaterals.
- Coordinate with finance for accurate billing, revenue tracking, and timely collections.
Who Are We Looking For? (Background & Experience)
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related fields (preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Digital Media Sales with a strong focus on Branded Content Sales.
- Proven success in selling branded content, digital media solutions, IPs, and integrated campaigns.
- Prior experience in leading and managing a sales team.
- Strong network across brands and agencies in the West region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, guide, and motivate teams.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting sales performance data and market insights.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools.
