We are seeking a strategic thinker who can translate data, market intelligence, and cultural insights into meaningful brand strategies and actionable recommendations for clients. The Brand Strategist will work at the intersection of research, analysis, and creative thinking to develop compelling brand narratives and strategic frameworks that solve complex business challenges.The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative consulting environment, possesses strong analytical capabilities, and can synthesize diverse information sources—from primary and secondary research to competitive intelligence and trend analysis—into coherent strategic points of view. You will work directly with clients across B2B and consumer sectors, leading strategic workstreams and contributing to high-impact brand consulting projects.Job Responsibilities Strategic Insight & AnalysisTranslate complex data sets, market research, and competitive intelligence into actionable strategic insights and recommendationsStructure, analyze, and synthesize findings from both primary research (surveys, interviews) and secondary sources (reports, industry studies, competitive analysis) to generate insights that inform brand strategyDevelop strategic hypotheses and points of view that facilitate brand positioning, architecture, and transformation initiativesConduct comprehensive market assessments, competitive landscape analysis, and opportunity identification to inform strategic recommendationsStay ahead of emerging brand trends, cultural shifts, and innovation in marketing, design, and business strategyProject & Workstream LeadershipOwn and lead strategic workstreams from research through final recommendations, understanding how individual components contribute to overall project objectivesManage multiple concurrent projects with varying scopes, timelines, and stakeholder requirementsCollaborate cross-functionally with research teams, creative departments, and client service teams to ensure integrated strategic solutionsClient Engagement & ConsultingServe as a strategic advisor to clients, presenting insights and recommendations with confidence and clarityActively contribute to client workshops and strategy sessions, utilizing strategic frameworks and tools to identify business opportunities and solve brand challengesTranslate complex strategic concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences including C-suite executivesInfluence internal and external stakeholders through persuasive communication and strategic thinkingRespond to client questions and concerns with strategic perspective and business acumenBusiness Development & Thought LeadershipSupport new business initiatives by conducting background research on prospective clients and their competitive landscapesContribute to the development of compelling pitch materials, proposals, and scopes of workDevelop strategic points of view on industry trends, market opportunities, and brand challengesCreate high-quality client presentations that effectively communicate strategic recommendationsInnovation & EfficiencyLeverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance research depth, improve analytical efficiency, and accelerate strategic developmentContinuously explore and evaluate new methodologies, tools, and approaches to brand strategy consultingContribute to the development of proprietary frameworks, tools, and intellectual capita Skills Requirements:Experience Required: 3+ years of core experience in strategy consulting (management consulting, brand consulting or business consulting)Demonstrated experience leading strategic projects from research through final recommendationsExperience with both B2B and consumer sectors preferred; B2B experience highly valuedStrong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize complex information into clear insightsStrong analytical skills including competitive analysis, market assessment, trend analysis, and opportunity identificationExperience with research methodologies and ability to select appropriate approaches based on business objectivesDeep understanding of both Qualitative and Quantitative primary research methodologies & processProven ability to create compelling presentations and strategic narrativesStrong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholdersAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plusFamiliarity with research databases, competitive intelligence platforms, and market research toolsComfort with AI tools and emerging technologies for research and analysisStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:MBA or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or related field preferredBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Communications, or related disciplineContinuous learning mindset with demonstrated professional developmentC5i is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
