About the Role:


The Senior Process Associate – Physician Billing (AR) is responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely follow-ups, resolution of denied or pending claims, and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the physician billing process, payer guidelines, and AR recovery techniques to ensure accurate and timely cash flow for clients.


Location: Mohali (On-Site)

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Physician Billing – AR process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct insurance follow-ups via calls and payer portals to resolve outstanding or denied claims.
  • Review and analyze EOBs, remittances, and denials to determine the root cause and resolve them effectively.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and company data privacy standards.
  • Meet defined quality and productivity benchmarks.
  • Provide regular updates on claim status, progress, and challenges.
  • Assist new hires or junior team members in understanding AR workflows when required.
  • Experience in US night shift environment preferred.


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of US Healthcare RCM, AR follow-up, and Denial Management.
  • Knowledge of CPT/ICD codes, modifiers, payer rules, and the physician billing cycle.
  • Familiarity with EOBs, ERA, claim adjudication, and appeal process.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume claims efficiently.
