Sales Manager – Automotive Domain

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager with proven experience in automotive domain sales, particularly in embedded software services and product engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across Tier-1 suppliers and OEMs.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of embedded software and product engineering services in the automotive domain (e.g., ADAS, Infotainment, Telematics, Connectivity, AUTOSAR).
- Identify and engage with target clients, including Tier-1 suppliers, OEMs, and technology partners.
- Generate new business through lead generation, networking, events, and referrals.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle – from prospecting and presentations to proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Collaborate with technical teams to tailor offerings and prepare client-specific solutions and proposals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competition, and emerging technologies in the automotive space.
- Build strong customer relationships to ensure long-term business growth and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to leadership.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business.
- 7+ years of experience in sales/business development, with at least 3+ years in the automotive embedded/software domain.
- Solid understanding of automotive technologies and trends (such as IVI, ADAS, Vehicle Connectivity, AUTOSAR).
- Proven ability to close large deals and meet aggressive revenue targets.
- Strong network within the automotive ecosystem – especially Tier-1 suppliers and OEMs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
