
Lead - Compensation & Benefits

The Lead – Compensation & Benefits will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing total rewards strategies that align with Heritage Foods’ business objectives, drive employee engagement, ensure market competitiveness, and support talent retention. The role will oversee compensation structures, benefits administration, benchmarking studies, salary planning, incentive programs, and compliance with applicable regulations.
This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical foundation, deep knowledge of compensation trends, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while ensuring operational excellence.
Core KPIs :
Compensation Strategy & Planning / Annual Compensation Review & Benchmarking/ Benefits Administration / Incentive and Rewards Programs / Job Evaluation & Grading Systems/ HR Systems & Analytics.
Critical Requirements for the Role (Essentials):
- Proven experience in Compensation & Benefits, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or specialist role.
- Strong understanding of compensation frameworks, job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Mercer, Hay), and salary benchmarking tools.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing variable pay, incentive plans, and benefits programs.
- Solid understanding of labour laws, tax implications, and statutory requirements related to C&B in India.
- Advanced Excel and data modeling skills; comfort with HRMS systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
