3.Desirable Certification:

  • Preferred Certification in Emergency Management / Nursing Administration.
  • Preferably Valid certification in Basic Trauma Life Support /Basic Life Support / Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Evidence of participation in various programs & update & maintain current professional knowledge & clinical skills.
  1. Professional Experience:
  • Total 7 years of experience in their area of specialization
  • Should be well versed in written & verbal languages – English, Hindi & Marathi.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft office – word, excel, power point & email communication

5.Core Job Responsibilities

  • To provide Nursing leadership, management and direction in regards to setting and maintaining quality standards, staff development and resource management in the daily operation of the unit.
  • To maintain adequate nurse patient ratio & should be well versed in contingency & disaster management plans of the organization.
  • To recognize legal implications and responsibility in practice of nursing
  • To be able to resolve issues arising from customer / staff dissatisfaction, conflict resolution to the utmost outcome as desired.
  • To be skilled in handling all clinical procedures, pathways & codes arising in the department
  • To maintain administrative records pertaining to Medico legal cases, ambulance logs & other statistical / census as required by the administration.

6.Specific Core Skills

  • Effective triaging of the patients & Management of Medico legal cases
  • Care of dead / Death on arrival - Counselling of grieving relatives
  • Mortuary services – Deposit & Release of the deceased from Mortuary
  • Management of Ambulance Services
  • Disaster Management – Natural & Manmade emergencies in community
  • Effective management & handling of rapidly changing emergencies.
  • Assisting in invasive & resuscitative procedures –Insertion of Arterial & Venous lines, Pacemakers, Defibrillation, initiation of Code blue etc. i.e. BLS, ACLS & BTLS,
  • Handling of Medical equipment – Ventilators, Syringe pumps, Cardiac Monitors, ECG machines, Crash cart & Defibrillator, Pacemakers, Nebulizers & Inhalers, Glucometers, Emergency trolleys & Wheel chairs, Portable Ventilators & Monitors ambulance stretchers(folding) etc.
