Key Responsibilities:- Nursing Staff Oversight
- Lead and supervise a team of nurses, ensuring proper staffing levels and efficient workflows.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing guidance and feedback to improve overall quality of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Address patient concerns and escalate issues as necessary to maintain high-quality care standards.
- Coordinate daily operations, including medication administration, treatment plans, and patient documentation.
- Supervise ward rounds and ensure accurate handovers between shifts.
- Identify training needs and coordinate ongoing professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
- Provide orientation and support to new employees during their probation period.
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement effective waste reduction and cost-saving strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care, staff attendance, and facility audits.
- Participate in hospital committee meetings, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
