The Client Service Lead - Human Capital Management (HCM) will serve as the subject matter expert in the area of HCM business processes.

This role involves significant participation in the discovery, design, and finalisation of new solutions or products, particularly within the Oracle Human Capital Management landscape. The role also includes the potential to lead the Oracle HCM team, driving the implementation, ongoing enhancements, and direct configuration of Oracle HCM modules.

The incumbent will work closely with Human Resources Business Management and the Oracle support team, facilitating efforts to define, enhance, and implement business systems aligned with industry best practices. The role demands deep expertise in Oracle HCM and the ability to translate business requirements into optimal solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Subject Matter Expertise :

- Provide thought leadership on Oracle HCM best practices.

- Lead workshops to gather business requirements and influence the adoption of standard Oracle processes.

- Manage gaps while minimising development efforts.

2. Team Leadership and Management :

- Lead and mentor a team of Oracle HCM functional consultants.

- Manage Oracle resource plans for current and future projects.

- Ensure timely delivery of projects, meeting agreed-upon standards and deadlines.

3. Technical Leadership :

- Oversee the scoping, planning, and delivery of Oracle HCM business process solutions, including new Fusion features, rollouts, and enhancement projects.

- Conduct feasibility studies, process design reviews, and implement solutions with an in-depth understanding of Oracle modules.

4. Integration and Collaboration :

- Represent HCM domain within the Business Applications Integration team.

- Analyse new projects, solutions, and configuration changes to ensure optimal implementation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to implement best practices.

5. Project and Stakeholder Management :

- Conduct regular meetings with process owners and the business support team to discuss project progress, incidents, and future roadmaps.

- Maintain clear, consistent, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

- Monitor customer satisfaction and provide necessary input to other IT projects as required.

6. System and Process Optimization :

- Ensure the system is future-ready with complete end-to-end automation.

- Design and configure systems for ease of use by business users.

- Monitor user licences within HCM, ensuring compliance and effective usage.

- Devise methods to reduce licensing costs and enhance system efficiency.

7. Documentation and Compliance :

- Ensure thorough documentation of all Oracle HCM implementations, including business blueprints, application configurations, functional specifications, test plans, and user manuals.

- Monitor and enforce adherence to the Request for Change processes.

- One or more Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud certifications (e.g., Core HR, Talent Management, Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Compensation).

Required Work Experience :

- Minimum of 10 years' experience with functional expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM business processes.

- At least 5 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle HCM modules.

- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM with 2 to 3 end-to-end hands-on project implementations.

- Functional expertise in several HCM areas including Core HR, Absence Management, Talent Management, Compensation, Time and Labor, and Recruitment.

- Experience in integrating HCM with Finance, SCM, Projects, and third-party systems.

- Proven ability to advise business units and drive continuous process improvement.
