A Tableau expert can design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale Tableau Server/Cloud environments and solutions.

He has good knowledge on data architecture, security, performance, and governance to meet business intelligence and data visualization needs. Key responsibilities include leading Tableau platform architecture, configuring environments, optimizing performance, developing data solutions with SQL and APIs.



Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Architecture & Design: Lead the architecture, design, and maintenance of Tableau Server/Cloud environments, ensuring scalability, high availability.


2. Data Strategy & Governance: Establish and enforce governance standards for workbooks, dashboards, and data sources, while optimizing data storage, retrieval, and performance.


3.Performance Optimization: Conduct system monitoring, capacity planning, and query optimization to maintain high performance for dashboards, extracts, and live connections.


4. Data Integration & Preparation: Manage data connectivity, oversee data preparation processes, and develop complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.


5. Security & Access Management: Administer user access, roles, and authentication (like SSO/AD) to ensure secure access to data and applications.


6. Dashboard & Solution Development: Design and develop comprehensive, interactive data solutions and visualizations, ensuring usability, performance, and alignment with business KPIs.
