For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Azure Cloud Architect. The ideal candidate will have good understanding of Azure cloud and reporting for application hosted on Azure cloud, using ADF and Azure SQL.

We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need tbe fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop a Azure Cloud DWH solution using Cloud native standards and ADF and Logic apps;
  • Testing of the application and providing support for the application to other IT teams and Business users;
  • Provide support to the application including migration related activities;
  • Creation, Review and updating various documents created as part of the project (including, but not limited), HLD, LLD, Design Decisions Document, Unit Test Plans, Test Plans, UAT Plan, Migration Plan etc;
  • Create, Review and Update presentations/ documents for various stakeholders including other IT teams, project team, Business users as part of this project;
  • Mapping of data fields from old Data Model to new data model, develop new data model, and migrate data using Azure DB Migration Service;

Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • +8 years of IT experience as Cloud Engineer and +3 years as Cloud Architect;
  • Experience working with Azure Services like Azure Data Factory, Logic App, Functions, Azure SQL DB, Blob Storage, Azure DevOps;
  • Experience working with other Azure Services like Azure Database Migration Service, ADLS Gen2, Synapse Analytics is an added advantage;
  • Experience creating Azure Data Factory pipelines leveraging Data Movement activities, Data Transformation activities like Data Flow, Stored Procedure, Custom Activity, Azure Functions etc. and Control Flow Activities like web activity, lookup activity etc;
  • Experience working with RDBMS preferably Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server;
  • Proficient in SQL, Transact-SQL and experience in developing Stored procedures;
  • Experience in any programming language, preferably C#, Python;
  • Expert level knowledge and usage of Azure Web Apps, Application Insights and Azure Active Directory;
  • Must have expert level knowledge of Key Vault for application security for data in transit and rest;
  • Implementing Azure authentication and securing data on the cloud using Key Vaults and Azure AD;
  • Experience working with Azure AI Services such as Azure AI Agent service, Azure AI Search, Azure Open AI, Bot service and Document Intelligence;
  • Good knowledge of Agile, DevOps delivery methodologies.
