**Job Description**:
**Location**: Remote

**Job Summary**:
As an Azure Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure-based solutions for our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures. This role requires deep expertise in Azure services, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

**Responsibilities**:
Architect Azure solutions that align with business objectives, considering scalability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and propose appropriate Azure services and configurations.

Design and implement Azure infrastructure components such as virtual networks, subnets, security groups, and storage accounts.

Develop Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts to automate deployment and management tasks.

Configure and optimize Azure services including virtual machines, containers, databases, and serverless functions.

Implement identity and access management solutions using Azure Active Directory (AAD), including role-based access control (RBAC) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Define and enforce Azure security best practices, including network security groups, encryption, and threat detection.

Monitor Azure resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization, and implement proactive measures to address issues.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, and collaborate with other IT teams on cross-functional projects.

Stay current with Azure updates, new features, and industry best practices, and evaluate their applicability to the organization's needs.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

2. Extensive experience architecting, designing, and implementing Azure-based solutions.

3. In-depth knowledge of Azure services including Compute, Networking, Storage, Databases, and Security.

4. Proficiency in Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and other automation tools.

5. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, with hands-on experience implementing them in Azure environments.

6. Experience with hybrid cloud deployments, including connecting on-premises infrastructure to Azure using VPN or ExpressRoute.

7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**8. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified**: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent are highly desirable.

9. Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

10. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
