This role is crucial for gaining real-time insights into the effectiveness of our consumer finance offers and those of our competitors. The intern will be responsible for on-ground data collection, analysis of financing offers, and providing actionable insights that will directly impact our sales and business strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesRetail Outlet Visits: Conduct frequent field visits to a designated set of retail outlets (General Trade, Modern Trade, and Brand Stores) to gather intelligence on consumer finance schemes.Data Collection & Audits: Systematically collect data on live consumer finance schemes, including:Zero Down Payment, Zero Interest, and EMI offers.Tenure options and processing fees.Specific model-wise offers and discounts.Promotion materials (POS, banners, leaflets) related to finance schemes.Competitor Analysis: Research and document the consumer finance schemes of key competitors in the consumer durable space (e.g., in ACs, refrigerators, TVs).Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with store managers, finance representatives from partner banks and on-ground sales promoters to understand the effectiveness and customer feedback on various schemes.Report Generation: Compile weekly and monthly reports with clear data, trend analysis, and insights on market-leading offers and competitor activities. Use data to create simple comparisons and charts.Feedback & Insights: Provide qualitative feedback on customer queries related to finance, common challenges faced by in-store promoters, and opportunities for new schemes.Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA/PGDM in Finance or Marketing, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with a wide range of people.Data Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data entry, organization, and analysis.Analytical Abilities: A keen eye for detail and the ability to identify trends and patterns from collected data.Field Readiness: Must be comfortable with regular travel within the designated city/area.Why Join Us?Gain hands-on experience in the critical domain of Sales & Marketing within the consumer durable industry.Your work will directly contribute to strategic business decisions and sales growth.Receive mentorship from seasoned professionals in sales and marketing.An opportunity to build a professional network and understand the real-world dynamics of retail business.
