Job Overview:

UniHawk is looking for a tech-savvy and proactive HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations for our India team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of India payroll structures, hiring, compliance, and employee engagement, and be capable of independently handling all HR functions from recruitment to exit formalities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end hiring for India roles.
  • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
  • Maintain the hiring pipeline and schedule interviews with relevant stakeholders.
  • Track and update the candidate pipeline for all open positions.
  • Share weekly hiring status updates with management.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Schedule and organize training sessions for new joiners.
  • Coordinate with team leads for training agendas and materials.
  • Track completion of training modules and follow up accordingly.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires.
  • Handle documentation, induction, and introduction to teams and tools.
  • Ensure new joiners are aligned with their training and reporting structure.
  • Maintain regular communication with employees for engagement and support.
  • Assist with employee concerns and escalate when necessary.
  • Support initiatives to improve satisfaction and reduce attrition.
  • Maintain accurate employee records for India.
  • Support day-to-day HR tasks and employee queries.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR operations, and recruitment (India-based).
  • Proficiency in HRMS/HRIS tools, Excel, and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.
