Region Covered: Six districts under the Mangaluru territory
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Mangaluru branch operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing the branch team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and expanding the market presence for Yanmar Mini Excavators and Dozco Rock Breakers in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Drive sales growth for Yanmar mini excavators and Dozco rock breakers.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
Identify new business opportunities and expand dealer/ customer network in assigned districts.
Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, rental companies, and construction firms.
Conduct competitor analysis and implement market penetration initiatives.
Branch Operations Management
Oversee all branch functions including sales, service coordination, spares, and administration.
Ensure customer satisfaction through timely deliveries, support, and follow-ups.
Monitor stock levels, order planning, and branch budgeting.
Maintain compliance with company standards and reporting systems.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and motivate the branch team to achieve business goals.
Conduct performance reviews and support skill development of team members.
Ensure proper allocation of responsibilities and maintain team discipline.
Market Coverage
Manage and grow business across six districts under the Mangaluru region.
Regular field visits to key markets, dealers, and major customers.
Required Qualifications
Degree or 3-year Diploma in any discipline (Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, of which at least 3 years must be in a team leader or managerial role.
Mandatory: Strong background in Construction Equipment Sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
Ability to lead a team, manage branch operations, and work under targets.
Willingness to travel across districts frequently.
