Job Title: Legal Assistant

Key Responsibilities


Legal Support


* Prepare, draft, proofread, and edit legal documents (contracts, agreements, correspondence, etc.)

* Organize and maintain physical and digital case files

* Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings

* Track deadlines and manage legal calendars

* Assist attorneys with case preparation and document filing

Client Communication


* Answer and make phone calls to clients, legal offices, and third parties

* Respond to and manage email inquiries professionally and promptly

* Schedule client meetings and follow-up appointments

* Maintain a courteous and professional manner in all client interactions

CRM & Administrative Duties


* Input and manage client and case data in the CRM system

* Track client interactions, legal tasks, and deadlines within CRM

* Generate reports and summaries from CRM as needed

* Organize internal documentation, meeting notes, and updates

* Handle general office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry

Requirements


* Diploma or certificate in Legal Assistant, Paralegal Studies, or related field

* Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a legal or administrative support role

* Familiarity with legal terminology, documents, and procedures

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)

* Experience using CRM software (e.g., Clio, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
