Position: QA Subject Matter Expert

Job Description:
We are looking to engage with a QA Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong experience in contract testing and Pactflow. This is a critical part of our broader testing strategy, and we are keen to onboard the right expert who can provide both strategic consultancy and hands- on implementation support.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Lead the implementation and scaling of contract testing using Pact and Pactflow across product teams
- Set up and configure Pactflow and integrate it within existing CI/CD pipelines
- Support multiple development teams in creating and running their first contract tests
- Collaborate with technical leads and architects to identify high-impact areas for contract testing adoption
- Engage with stakeholders across teams and possibly with the Pactflow team to ensure alignment and best practices
- Guide pilot teams that are new to contract testing and help them through the full adoption lifecycle
- Define and promote internal standards, guidelines, and best practices for contract testing
- Deliver workshops, documentation, and coaching sessions to upskill internal teams Contribute to the development or refinement of starter templates/archetypes to accelerate adoption.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience with contract testing, ideally in microservices-based environments
- Hands-on expertise in Pact and Pactflow, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience integrating Pactflow into CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Programming language is flexible, but TypeScript familiarity is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and drive alignment Comfortable interfacing with external teams (e.g., Pactflow support) and internal engineering leaders.
- Experience working as a technical advisor or coach within agile teams
- Ability to evangelize best practices and foster grassroots adoption of new testing strategies
- Track record of building internal capability through documentation, templates, and upskilling activities
