CloudifyOpsis seeking a talented Senior IT Support Engineer to join ourdynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible forimplementing and managing organizational infrastructure to supportour growing business needs. JobSummary:
  • Experttechnical support for Microsoft and Google Workspace (formerly GSuite) applications and operatingsystems.
  • Engagevendors to address the issues collaboratively implement desiredfeatures and replace deficienthardware.
  • Respondto and resolve alerts and tickets generated from the monitoringsystem and/or customer requests in a timely fashion.
  • Experiencewith Command Line Interfaces to manage computer equipment
  • Maintainaccurate time and records in all service tickets as performed.
  • Maintainsystem configuration information within the ticketing system andensure it is attached to relevant tickets.
  • Communicatewith customers as needed regarding ticket progress changes oragreedoutages.
  • Escalateservice requests that require engineer level support in a timelyfashion to prevent breach of SLA.
  • Workwith all team members to implement and improve Company bestpractices.
  • Ensurethe effectiveness of thirdparty tools for data backup continuouslymonitor server environments to verify smooth backup operations andmaintain optimal backupprogress.
  • Reportto management on potential problems with customer s computersconfigurations and/orenvironment.
  • Ensureweekly reports detailing the projects status and progress arepresented consistently providing clear data statistics andinformation for effective communication anddecisionmaking.
  • Establisha proactive system maintenance program that benefits both customersand internalorganization.
  • Prioritizedeveloping disaster recovery plans for our customers applicationsanddata.


Requirements
  • 4years to 6 years of Work experience as a Desktop Support EngineerTechnical Support Engineer or similar role
  • Overalladministration and management of the Microsoft 365 & Entraenvironment
  • Knowledgeand handson experiences to configure and install various networkdevices services and related applications (e.g. routers switchesfirewalls load balancers VPN QoS)
  • Handsonexperience with monitoring network diagnostic and network analyticstools
  • Performnetwork maintenance and system upgrades including service packspatches hot fixes and securityconfigurations
  • ProvideLevel2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve technical issuesdemonstrating excellent problemsolving skills with the ability toquickly identify and resolveproblems.
  • Excellentanalytical and problemsolvingskills.
  • Excellentcommunication skills are required for efficient collaboration anduserassistance
  • Solidunderstanding of networking protocols (e.g.TCP/IP SMTP UDPDHCP DNSIPSEC HSRP BGP OSPF QoS OSI model)
  • Strongknowledge of Linux / Windows /MAC operating systems (UbuntuCentOSRed HatWindows Servers Windows 10 / 11Monterey Ventura Sonoma)
  • Experiencewith virtualization & Cloud technologies such as VMware KVMHypervisor Azure(This skillset is Must and highlypreferred& StrongL1)AWS Candidates with this skill set will be given additionalpriority
  • Knowledgeof storage technologies such as RAID SAN andNAS.
  • Understandingof security best practices and experience in implementing securitymeasures onsystems.
  • Abilityto work independently in a teamoriented environment and collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to provide solutions based on therequirements
  • Strongcommunication skills to effectively communicate technical conceptsand solutions to technical and nontechnicalstakeholders.
  • Knowledgeon antivirusprograms
  • Relevantcertifications (for example Cisco Certified Network Associate(CCNA) CompTIA Network AWS Practitioner Azure Fundamentals).
  • Proficientin Linux commandline interface (CLI) and shellscripting.

Goodtohave:
  • 4to 6 years of relevant experience as a network engineer includingphone remote support and hands on Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
  • Strongworking knowledge of Microsoft Entra Azure Network &Network peripherals
  • ExcellentCustomer Service Skills
  • Advancedtroubleshooting skills
  • Experienceinstalling/configuring routers switches VPNs firewalls (CiscoSophos PaloAlto)

What we are looking for: 7 + years of hands-on experience as aDevOps & Cloud A person who has experience in assisting/helpingto architect, design and develop Cloud & DevOps practices onone or more cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) Must be an expert inimplementing CI & CD pipeline with various DevOps tool sets.Should be able to evaluate, implement, and streamline the DevOpspractices for the clients thereby speeding up the softwaredevelopment and deployment process Hands-on experience with CI& CD tools(like Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory/ Nexus), SourceControl (like Git- Bit bucket, Github, Git lab/SVN etc.) Experiencein creating continuous delivery practices by using Terraform/ARMTemplates/Cloud Formation. Must possess excellent knowledge ofinfrastructure configuration & automation tools (like Ansible)in both development and production environments Should possess theexperience in designing & building applications using container& serverless technologies. Kubernetes expertise is a must haveand knowledge on Service Mesh, Tracing, Helm Charts etc would be anadded advantage. Must have strong expertise in operating Linuxenvironments and scripting languages like Shell. Good presentationand communications skills. Be willing to be challenged and learnnew skills.
