We are looking for a skilled IT SupportEngineer specializing in Cyber Engineering to join our team. As anIT Support Engineer - Cyber Engineering, you will play a crucialrole in providing comprehensive infrastructure support, internalsupport, and remote customer support. The ideal candidate willpossess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles andtechnologies, coupled with expertise in firewalls, access points,VLANs, switches, networking, server administration, and cloudplatforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Responsibilities:

  1. Providecomplete infrastructure support, including cybersecurity measures,troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of ITsystems.
  2. Offer internal support to employees,addressing their IT-related issues promptly and effectively, with afocus on cybersecurity.
  3. Deliver remotecustomer support, ensuring timely resolution of technical issuesand inquiries related to cybersecurity and ITinfrastructure.
  4. Configure, install, andmaintain firewalls, access points, VLANs, switches, and othernetworking equipment with a strong emphasis on securityprotocols.
  5. Implement and manage cybersecuritymeasures to protect organizational assets and data.
  6. Administer servers, ensuring their smooth operation,security compliance, and resilience against cyberthreats.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to design and implement cybersecurity solutions and addresstechnical challenges.
  8. Monitor network trafficfor security breaches and intrusions, and implement necessarymeasures to mitigate risks.
  9. Documentcybersecurity procedures, configurations, and incident responses tofacilitate compliance and future reference.
  10. Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats,technologies, and industry best practices to continuously improveIT infrastructure and support services.

Key Skills:

  1. Proficiency inconfiguring and managing firewalls, access points, VLANs, switches,and other networking equipment with a focus oncybersecurity.
  2. Strong understanding ofnetworking principles, protocols, and cybersecuritymeasures.
  3. Experience in server administration,including installation, configuration, and maintenance, with anemphasis on cybersecurity.
  4. Familiarity withcloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and experience inimplementing cybersecurity measures in cloudenvironments.
  5. Excellent troubleshooting skillswith the ability to diagnose and resolve cybersecurity-relatedissues efficiently.
  6. Strong communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively withboth technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Proven ability to work independently as well ascollaboratively within a team.
  8. Certificationssuch as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and any relevantcloud certifications are desirable.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalentexperience with a Diploma or BCA.
  • Minimum of 3to 5 years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or a similarrole.
  • Relevant certifications and training innetworking, cybersecurity, server administration, and cloudplatforms are advantageous.
