RoleSummary:
  • Consults with internal customers and externalvendors to capture agreedupon business objectives and processes.
  • Performs researchand factfinding to determine business requirements for developmentof enduser programs operational procedures and support.
  • Communicates theseprocesses and their implications to technical and nontechnicalcontributors to ensure that applications accurately meet businessusers goals.
  • Business Analysts create system requirementscollaborating with the design teams to determine that applicationdatabase & other system impacts based on the requirements.
  • The Business Analystworks closely with other members of the technical teams to ensureall requirements are addressed in the solution design.
Typical Training / Experience
  • HS diploma GED or relevant work experience;
  • Specialized skilltraining/certification may be required;
  • 25 years of experience in area ofresponsibility required
Dept/Org Scope &Impact
  • Fully functioning support role having greaterresponsibility to perform all (or most) most of the standard workwithin the function; moderate impact to the department
Problem Complexity
  • Effectively identifies problems as they occur and takesappropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem isnot difficult or complex;
  • Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor/manager
Autonomy
  • Under generalsupervision exercises some judgment in accordance with welldefinedpolicies procedures techniques;
  • Work typically involves regular review of output by asenior coworker or supervisor/manager
Knowledge
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of a technicalor specialty area;
  • Readily learns and applies new information/concept inarea of practice

  • Responsible for processing measuring andassessing the effectiveness of established Technology PortfolioServices processes and procedures.
  • Ensures quality when processing interpretingtracking research and analysis of various data and requests withinthe Oracle/Financial systems.
  • Executes tasks requiring research problem solving andjudgment ensuring compliance with and adherence to CCI polices andstandards with optimal efficiency.
  • 2 or more years of experience required inrelated field (i.e. engineering finance business operations etc.)
  • 2 years ofexperience working with project lifecycles & procurementsupport activities
