Key Responsibilities:

The sales development representative will support Pixxel's Regional Sales Leads and Chief Commercial Officer across key sales and business development initiatives:

  • Lead generation across priority sectors such as principally within agriculture, extractive industries, forestry, environmental sectors
  • Research and collect information to create, clean, scrub, and/or augment contact lists for Pixxel
  • Prospecting global customers (both private sector and government) and setting up discovery calls
  • Facilitating and eventually leading introductory calls with customers to pitch the Pixxel value proposition and satellite data specifications
  • Researching strategic accounts indepth to identify revenue opportunities and building comprehensive account maps to support the closing process
  • Build and maintain customer relationship management database (Hubspot)
  • Utilise outreach tools such as , Apollo and ZoomInfo.
  • Equip sales personnel with premeeting notes and meeting context based on secondary research so they are best prepared to succeed
  • Consistently achieve meeting quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives
  • Assist with light marketing duties such as webinars
  • Prospect for customers that fit the ideal customer profile and set up discovery calls for the sales team to meet them.
  • Create outreach campaigns to target new leads
Required skills and characteristics:

  • A selfstarter with a proven track record of success and tenacity as an SDR
  • Ambitious to meet and exceed targets and ultimately outgrow this role
  • Objection handling with difficult customers
  • Comfortable with multichannel outreach (email, linkedin, whatsapp)
  • Collaborative and willing to engage with people from all departments of Pixxel (commercial and technical teams) to learn about the product and pitch it to customers
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities
