Job Title & Purpose

  • Job Title: EN-ER-01: Schematics & Apparatus Engineer RS
  • Purpose of the Job:
    • Designing train electrical architecture, layout, and wiring
    • Specifying electrical apparatus for projects
    • Producing principle schemes and project apparatus specifications

Position in the Organization

  • Organizational Reporting
  • Hierarchical: Schematic & Apparatus Domain Leader (S&ADL)
  • Functional: Schematic & Apparatus Leader (S&AL)
  • Network & Links:
    • Constant collaboration with TCE, TSE, fitting engineers, and SSE of the project
    • Direct interaction with Verification & Test Engineer

Missions

  • Performance Measurement/KPI's
  • Quality of delivery: Ensuring a quality rate above 90%
  • Respect of delivery planning: Achieving 100% on-time delivery
  • Application of standard PPL: 100% compliance
  • Continuous improvement and Return on Experience management

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for:
  • Delivering accurate electrical products for the project
  • Managing configuration of deliverables
  • Responsible for:
  • Overseeing S&A QCD activities and sub-contracting management

Job Specifications Knowledge & Experience

  • Graduate in Electrical and/or Electrotechnical Engineering
  • Knowledge: Train systems, Electrical CAD (min 5 years), Fluent English

Innovation

  • Driving proposal for PPL and Processes evolution
  • Proposing functional evolution/correction to TCE
