The Impact: This role is crucial for the Market Intelligence Group of S&P as it ensures the development of new software solutions and continuous improvement and stability of our existing applications. Responsibilities:

• Developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining web applications that support a multi-million dollar business.
• Participating in team efforts to implement software projects, providing support in frontend and backend layers.
• Engaging with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and help in translating them into technical specifications for effective software solutions.
• Adhering to best practices in data management and governance, maintaining awareness of data privacy and security policies.
• Contributing to the identification, design, and implementation of process improvements.

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years of software development: Expertise in debugging, refactoring, and enhancing existing code, with a strong understanding of performance and scalability.
• Expertise in building web applications Angular, NgRX, CSS, TypeScript.
• Experience in common AWS tools (Airflow, Lambda, SES, SQS, Fargate, CloudFormation, etc.) is desirable.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing user support tickets and implementing solutions.
• Collaborating with internal teams, including product owners and quality assurance engineers, to ensure seamless integration of new features and enhancements.
• Commitment to code quality: Writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Following best practices, and understanding architectural decisions for scalable application design.
• Teamwork and Agile methodology: Demonstrated ability in Agile development environments, good communication skills, and willingness to learn from senior engineers.
• Support and Collaboration: Ability to support and learn from senior team members, contributing to data engineering projects and initiatives.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with automated unit-testing tools.
