Project Role Description: We are seeking an experienced Infra Security Engineer with a solid background in AWS cloud security and DevSecOps practices. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect our cloud infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our cloud-based systems and services.

Must have skills: DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Security Design principles, Infrastructure Security, Secure SDLC, Threat Modeling

Good to have skills: Cloud Security Architecture, AWS, Secure CI/CD

Experience: 3 – 5 year(s)

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud security services, including IAM, VPC, S3, Cloud-Trail, Cloud-Watch, and AWS Config.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud-Formation, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and container security best practices.
• At least one scripting language. Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Github Actions, CIS Benchmarks).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security architectures and controls for AWS cloud environments, including network security, identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and security logging/monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in cloud deployments.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to integrate security controls into cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Integrate security into the DevSecOps lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerized environments.
• Implement security automation and orchestration tools to enable continuous security monitoring, compliance enforcement, and threat detection.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats and anomalies, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain security assessment frameworks, scripts, and tools to automate security testing and evaluation.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
• Document security architectures, designs, procedures, and guidelines for AWS cloud environments.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies in the cloud computing space.
