As an IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various aspects of data centre operations, with a focus on incident, problem, and change management.

Your role will involve ensuring the smooth functioning of data centre infrastructure and systems, as well as facilitating effective communication and follow-ups with stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to incidents affecting data centre operations promptly.
  • Maintain incident documentation and reports for analysis and improvement purposes.
  • Identify recurring issues and root causes impacting data centre performance.
  • Lead problem investigation and resolution activities to prevent recurrence of incidents.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement longterm solutions and improvements.
  • Review and assess proposed changes to data centre infrastructure, systems, and configurations.
  • Coordinate change implementation plans, including scheduling, testing, and risk assessment.
  • Ensure compliance with change management policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for data centrerelated inquiries and updates.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders regarding incident, problem, and change statuses.
  • Conduct regular followups to ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain accurate records of data centre incidents, problems, changes, and related activities.
  • Generate performance reports, metrics, and dashboards to track operational KPIs and trends.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Skill requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience (35 years), with expertise in incident, problem, and change management.
  • Strong technical background in data centre infrastructure, networking, and systems administration.
  • Proficiency in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, incident management tools, and IT service management (ITSM) platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently when required.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a proactive and solutionoriented mindset.
  • Certifications such as ITIL Foundation desirable
