The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area.

May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise covering work force strategy and financial reviews to aid senior managers within the technology group.

Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval.


Responsibilities:


Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvementsResolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standardsDevelop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goalsProvide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutionsDemonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.

Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.

Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through responsibility for delivery of end results and shared responsibility for budget management; accountable for resource planning.

Standardize and rationalize the headcount reporting processes across the teamProvide analytical analysis of headcount reporting, combined with the ability to communicate to senior stakeholders in plain language.

Build a consolidated workforce strategy, changing the make-up of the staff from mainly temporary to permanent staff, while building a skills-based technology team.

​Qualifications:

6-10 years' experience in a related technology role with commensurate people management experienceExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsAbility to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictateDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationExperience:Strategic planning, change management, programme management, business process definition and re-engineeringPrior experience of working in a PMO or Business Management function for a large business or business unitProduction of MIS reportingDemonstrable track record and experience in the management and delivery of similar processes in past rolesStrong consulting and facilitation skillsCompetencies:Ability to solve complex problems that cross organizational boundariesAbility to plan "the big picture" providing stakeholders with forward vision as well as past performanceProvision of well-articulated staffing plans for implementation with 6-24 month horizonProvision of good analytical skills, enabling quick and informed decision makingAbility to make well reasoned decisions, given limited dataEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
