We are hiring Freight Agent for
our logistics
company in Delhi with the
following requirements:
What is Your Job Role -?
Your job role is to - Generate leads from the database, one has to call customers ( Companies to approach them by speaking with Company logistic manager / freight manager) and convert them to sales by convincing them to use our logistic / freight broker services for their Business.
- **Also you have to
acquire new business through prospecting, cold calling, etc.**
Explanation -
- A freight( logistic) broker is a middle person between a shipper(any company ) who has goods to transport and a carrier (trucking company) who has capacity to move that freight.
Responsibilities
- To Make Sales calls and build new shippers base.
- Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a Sales pipeline
- Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services
- Providing customers with shipping quotes
- Booking orders with carriers
- Assisting to prepare carriers for loads.
- Tracking status of loads
- Collaborating with shippers, carriers and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and dropoffs
- Keeping accurate records of relevant activities
- Updating customers on the status of shipments, and assisting with other inquiries.
- Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in transportation marketplace.
Requirements:
- Experience High School Diploma or suitable equivalent.
- Minimum 6 Months of work experience as a freight agent ?FRESHERS can also apply
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
- American accent will be advantage.
- Outstanding people skills.
- Proficient negotiating skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
